Referencing the Symbol Factory Controls in an Application
After installing the Symbol Factory ActiveX controls from the product CD, you must also reference the
components in your Visual Basic Application.
1. On the Visual Basic menu,
click on Project -> Components or press Ctrl-T to bring up the components dialog box as shown below:

2. Select "Symbol Factory Controls" by checking the check box next to "Symbol Factory Controls" in
the list of available components
3. Click the Apply button
4. Click the Close button
5. Two controls will be added to the Visual Basic
toolbox as shown at the right. The icons represent the Symbol Factory Standard and Symbol Factory Cutaway controls respectively.
